LV Food Diary | Raku 🍶✨
I discovered this place on Xiaohongshu and couldn’t get a reservation—so I decided to line up before they opened and got in with the first wave! Even my friend who usually doesn’t like Japanese food fell in love and said: “From now on, this is our go-to Japanese spot in Vegas!” 🎰🍣 🦢 Foie Gras Don Rich and aromatic foie gras rice bowl 🍚—no gaminess at all, just pure indulgence. The greens underneath help balance the richness, and the Japanese rice is next-level: plump, chewy, and slightly sweet. 🍳 Poached Egg A bit hard to appreciate fully, but based on the yolk color 🥚, it’s a good egg! 😂 Smooth and no odd flavors. 🐟 Sashimi Fresh and delicious—can’t quite remember which fish we ordered, but it likely included tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. Felt higher quality than some Japanese spots in LA! 🐮 Kobe Beef Fillet 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The star of the meal! Tender, melt-in-your-mouth Kobe beef with a perfect chargrilled aroma. The touch of wasabi sauce cut through the richness beautifully—though the second order wasn’t as mind-blowing as the first. 👗 Kobe Beef Outside Skirt Chewy and flavorful beef with crispy roasted garlic slices—a classic match! 🐷 Kurobuta Pork Cheek Crispy on the outside, juicy inside—brushed with a light sauce that enhanced without overpowering. 🍅 Tomato with Bacon Sweet and tangy burst from roasted cherry tomatoes paired with salty bacon—refreshing and satisfying! 🍄 Enoki Mushroom Simple grilled mushrooms—nothing extraordinary, but solid. (Visited a while ago, but clearing out my foodie list—writing it down so I don’t have to dig through my photo gallery forever!)
