MACBA | Checking in at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art 📸
I took a trip to MACBA last week, and I’ve got to say, this gallery is super photo-friendly, with many scenes that are quite camera-ready (perfect for ticking off the bucket list). But! Before you buy your ticket, you should do a little research and weigh whether it’s worth a visit! (Emphasizing on saving where you can and spending where it counts) 🌟 💡 Key Information: • The exhibits mainly feature late 20th-century modern art, with a rotation every 3-4 months. The museum itself is three stories high. Modern art is subjective; if you’re into it, you’ll see a lot of mind-blowing stuff; but if you’re not usually a fan, you might find it a bit hard to grasp. (On the day I went, quite a few people slipped out after only half-looking around the second floor) 🌟 • Ticket prices: 12 euros on-site, 10.8 euros online (around 9 euros for student tickets with additional discounts), and free entry after 4 PM on Saturdays (check the MACBA Saturdays section on the official website) Travelers! If time permits, definitely prioritize the free option! Locals, make sure to wait for the free tickets on Saturdays! 🌟 • Souvenir shop: Expensive, so if you really love something, make sure to check the price before you make the purchase. 🚶♀️ 🌟 Transportation: • Metro: Take the L1 or L2 line and get off at Universitat station, then walk towards the old town. 🌟 • Bus: H16, H12 to Ronda Sant Antoni - Pl Goya, or L95, 52 to Gran Via - Muntaner. #ArtAndLife #TravelShare #EverythingIsPhotoworthy #BeautifulExhibitionsForPhotos #BarcelonaTravel #BarcelonaMuseums #BarcelonaMuseumOfContemporaryArt #CulturalSightseeing #Barcelona #Spain #ShoppingWithMe
