Machu Picchu Peruvian Cuisine
I’ve always wanted to try authentic Peruvian ceviche—the thought of fresh fish marinated in lemon juice just sounds irresistibly refreshing. This time, I finally visited one of Boston’s top-rated Peruvian restaurants, and it was quite an experience! 🌟 Must-Try Dishes: 1️⃣ Grilled Beef Heart (Anticuchos de Corazón) The highlight of the meal! Tender and juicy on the inside, perfectly charred on the outside, with a smoky aroma and a savory house sauce—absolutely delicious! No gamey taste at all, and the texture is even springier than beef. 2️⃣ Cilantro Chicken Soup (Aguadito de Pollo) A rich and fragrant broth with a refreshing cilantro note. The chicken is stewed until tender and flavorful, though it’s a bit on the salty side—perfect for those who prefer stronger flavors. 3️⃣ Corn Tamale A savory tamale wrapped in corn husks, stuffed with a hearty filling. Soft, comforting, and full of authentic character! 🤔 Worth a Try: 🍋 Ceviche The fish was fresh, but the texture felt a bit too firm, and the lemon marinade didn’t quite bring out the sweetness of the fish as expected. Maybe my hopes were too high—slightly disappointing. 📝 Final Thoughts: I’ll definitely be back! There are still several dishes I’d love to try, like Peruvian seafood rice (Arroz con Mariscos) and slow-braised lamb shank. Reservations are recommended—this place gets packed on weekends! #BostonFood #PeruvianCuisine #MachuPicchu #GrilledBeefHeart #Ceviche #CornTamale
