That day, we made a last-minute decision to drive to Malibu 🌊. When we left USC, the sun was still high in the sky ☀️, and as we drove along the coastline, the sea breeze rushed in through the windows, filling us with an indescribable sense of freedom 🚗💨. When we arrived at Point Dume, the wind was strong, and the waves crashed fiercely against the shore 🌊💨. Every surge of foam glimmered with golden light ✨, making the moment feel truly magical. The hiking trail wasn’t particularly high, but with every step, we could hear the voice of the wind whispering around us 🍃. The higher we climbed, the more expansive the ocean view became. Slowly, the sunlight stretched and softened, turning into shades of orange, then gold 🌅. When we stopped at the mountaintop, we noticed a couple sitting in the distance. They weren’t speaking—just sitting closely together on a bench, watching the sun sink slowly into the sea 🌊❤️. In that moment, the whole world seemed to grow quiet, as if even the wind had slowed down to match their peace 🕊️. I have to admit, I felt a little envious of them. Not necessarily because it was romantic, but because of that profound sense of being understood— the kind of calm where, amid all that wind and light, you have someone right there beside you 🥰.
