Malo Restaurant: A Flavorful Late-Night Latin Experience

🥯Even though we arrived just an hour before closing on a Thursday night, the staff at Malo warmly welcomed us without compromising on service quality. 🥨The food, meanwhile, exceeded expectations and left a lasting impression. 🍺The filet mignon taco was a highlight—incredibly tender and juicy, nearly melting in the mouth. Paired with flavorful sauces and fresh vegetables, each bite was richly satisfying. 🥩I also tried three other taco varieties: the shrimp taco was sweet and fresh without any fishy taste, the mahi mahi taco offered a slight spicy kick that awakened the palate, and the avocado and onion taco was refreshing and unique. 🥯Each stood out for its balanced seasoning and soft, yet sturdy tortilla. The biggest surprise was the side of charred Iowa corn—smoky with a natural sweetness, lightly seasoned to enhance rather than overpower the corn’s innate flavor. It was so enjoyable that I’ll definitely order it again next time. #LatinCuisine #DesMoines #LatinFlavors
