Manpuku Japanese BBQ Dallas
🧇I’ve been wanting to try this Japanese BBQ place for a while. I chose the $72 per person American Wagyu omakase, which is a two-person minimum order. It included: Buttered corn, boiled edamame, and cabbage salad. These are common side dishes. The cabbage salad was sweet and tangy, very refreshing and a great palate cleanser. Grilled shrimp, two per person. When grilled according to the recommended timing, they were tender and juicy. 🍽️Wagyu beef rolls with egg, one serving per person. This was delicious, similar to eating sukiyaki—tender, flavorful, and aromatic. Spicy beef soup. It had the familiar taste of stewed beef soup, not very spicy but with a rich meat flavor. 👍Wagyu beef with garlic-infused rice, the main course of the meal. Each person got two slices of different cuts of beef. I don’t recall where each cut was from, but every piece was delicious. Paired with the rice, the combination of beef fat, garlic, and rice aroma was truly indulgent. Strawberry slush. This was quite ordinary and tasted like artificial flavoring. 🥧The meal didn’t look like much, but it was filling. I highly recommend giving it a try. However, I think the American Wagyu is sufficient. The more expensive options don’t seem to offer much more in terms of quantity, just different cuts. The $72 option is the best value. 📍Address: 2023 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206 #DallasLife #DallasFoodie
