💤On a whim, I changed my dining plans and stumbled upon a Michelin-level restaurant in the suburbs—possibly the best Western-style dining experience in Maribor. 💤Upon entering, only a few guests were present. 💤Owner and head chef David Vračko, with messy hair, wore jeans, sneakers, and an ill-fitting chef’s jacket. 🌻My first thought: "Is this going to be another classic Eastern European countryside meal?" 🌻But the first appetizer shattered my expectations. 🌾Then came the bone marrow course—an absolute masterpiece that made me forget I was in Eastern Europe! 🌾Mid-meal, the chef and his team gathered in the center of the restaurant, singing loudly and cracking political jokes, creating a relaxed and lively atmosphere. 🌾 A sudden hand-washing ritual was introduced before the next finger food course. 🍸What followed was a parade of creativity: 🍸Silkie chicken with mashed potatoes 🍸Pan-seared sea bass cake 🍺Artfully presented desserts 🍺Each dish was served with genuine enthusiasm and theatrical flair. 🍺 No menu—just one surprise after another.
