Masami: Japanese Cuisine Recommendation in Dallas
✨A birthday is a day to celebrate with joy and a good meal! It's been a while since I last visited a Japanese restaurant. I previously went to a chain conveyor belt sushi place, but the dishes weren't very clean, so I didn't share about it. 🍓The atmosphere here is like a cozy Japanese tavern, perfect for a simple Friday date for couples. There were quite a few couples around us. The average cost per person was about $40-$50. The food was really good! Among the sashimi, my favorites were the albacore tuna and seabass. You can taste the freshness and chewiness of the fish, paired with just a bit of wasabi for a perfect balance. The only downside was that the salmon was a bit flaky. If you love pure salmon, be cautious—it might be hit or miss. 🧺The eel dish is a must-try! The eel is tender and thick, and when paired with their special eel sauce, it's absolutely divine. The eel bursts with flavor in your mouth. It's $28 per serving. The tofu is also quite bouncy and enjoyable. The grilled chicken was tender but had a pretty average flavor—I probably won't order it again. Hahaha, definitely try the dessert! We had a sesame flan, which was fragrant and not too sweet.
