Massachusetts | Winter Vacation Guide - TOURISTS

Even on a winter weekend in Massachusetts, you can enjoy a relaxing forest retreat First, the hotel 📌 TOURISTS - North Adams 9:00 AM: Depart from the city, 2.5 hours drive 12:00-3:00 PM: Visit North Adams’ largest visual arts museum, MassMoca. There are three exhibitions that require advance reservations through their website. The museum is spacious and design-conscious, taking about 3 hours to explore. 3:00 PM: Check into TOURISTS, just a 3-minute drive from the museum. Relax at the hotel, order breakfast for the next day, and leave it at the door. Across the street is a large supermarket, just a crossing away, where you can pick up some drinks and snacks. 6:00 PM: Have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Airport Room. I’ve read online that some people say it’s not good, but we wanted to eat and drink without driving, so we went for convenience. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic, and the food is pretty good too! Especially the roasted chicken and steak frites, with added fried eggplant (all delicious!) The only downside is the mandatory 20% service fee 😅 a bit exaggerated. 8:00 PM: Return to the hotel to continue relaxing and look forward to breakfast. The next day: 8:30 AM: Breakfast is delivered to your room at the time you specify, and it’s very, very, very good. We ordered a savory porridge, a burrito, and overnight oats, which were super delicious 🫠 I think it surpasses the brunch I’ve had in the city. 10:00-11:00 AM: You can take a walk/hike behind the hotel (or join a hotel group) before checking out. 11:00 AM: Depart for the city! Grab a coffee on the way, and head home to rest. Arrive in Boston just in time for lunch and a nap. A perfect little weekend getaway, and the hotel is now offering rooms for 200🔪 a night during the off-season, which feels like a great deal! #BostonSurroundings #Massmoca #BostonLife
