McKinney travel guide--Bonnie Wenk Park
📍 Bonnie Wenk Park, McKinney One of the most beautiful and photogenic lake views I've encountered in the Dallas suburbs this year. 🥰The lake is small—more like a pond—but under the late autumn sunlight, its shades of deep green and soft blue are utterly captivating. The park trails are well-maintained and suitable for cycling, forming part of the national trail system. The longest trail stretches nearly 10 miles, winding through scenic meadows and shaded groves. 🩷The park features multiple playgrounds with modern equipment for younger children, and even includes a fitness-focused training court (as shown in Image 3), perfect for older kids and adults looking to incorporate exercise into their outdoor time. You'll also find: ✔️Spacious picnic areas with grills ✔️A splash pad for summer fun ✔️Dog-friendly zones with agility equipment ✔️Accessible paved pathways throughout Pro Tip: Visit during golden hour for stunning reflections on the water, and bring binoculars for birdwatching – the park is part of the Central Flyway migration route! #McKinney#Bonnie Wenk Park#travelguide#McKinneyguide
