Finally got to try Mensho Tokyo after it’s been open for half a year — and it did NOT disappoint! Here’s the full breakdown: 🧄 GKO Ramen – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you love garlic, this one will make you cry (happy tears!) 😭🧄 Packed with fried garlic bits and garlic oil, and the broth has a subtle spicy kick — absolutely aromatic and unforgettable! I’m ranking this tied for 1st place with Afuri’s yuzu tsukemen! 🍗 Signature Chicken Broth Ramen – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rich, creamy chicken paitan broth — super velvety! Comes with both pork and beef chashu 🥓 Solid bowl, but still doesn’t beat my beloved GKO. 🍄 Enoki Chips – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Zero weird mushroom taste! I’d call them mushroom-style potato chips — crispy, savory, and totally addictive! 🐙 Mentaiko Takoyaki – ⭐⭐ Pretty average takoyaki — not enough octopus chunks, and the mentaiko sauce was barely there 😔 A bit of a letdown given the name… 🍵 Matcha Pudding – ⭐⭐⭐ A nice, creamy matcha pudding — though not quite as rich as I’d hoped.
