Meteora 🌟 | An Honest Review of This LA Michelin-Starred Spot

After much deliberation, I finally dined at Meteora—and sadly, the online warnings were right. This Michelin-starred experience left us baffled (and hungry for better food). 🤔 The Downsides 🌡️ No A/C on a hot August day—while the interior is beautifully designed, comfort was lacking. 🪑 Strange seating: The restaurant was empty (more staff than guests), yet we were squeezed into a tiny table. 🍽️ Rushed service: Staff hovered around our table, clearing plates the second we finished—it felt like a race to turn tables. 👀 Zero privacy: With servers constantly watching, we couldn’t relax or enjoy our conversation. 🎂 Birthday fail: We brought a cake for a celebration. After asking us to wait, the server tried to cut it within minutes—then took it away before we could even snap a photo! 😤 🍛 The Food We opted for the 7-course menu ($150/person). Only the amuse-bouche and first two courses were enjoyable. The rest? Underwhelming and forgettable. Fun fact: Later, I discovered Meteora is affiliated with Destroyer—which I also found overrated. Coincidence? I think not. 💡 Final Verdict Skip this one. For the price and hype, there are far better dining experiences in LA. Your taste buds (and camera roll) deserve more! #LAFood #MichelinStar #HonestReview #SkipThis #LAEats
