Mexican Food in LA: Mirate 🌮

Okay, I’ve got to be honest—Mexican food here is really not my thing. It’s nothing like the tacos we had back in Shanghai. The flavors are super intense, with super aromatic spices, and the ingredients are pretty unusual—cactus, chayote, grasshopper powder… I ended up just telling myself I was loading up on vitamins while forcing it down. 🄓🌵 This place is actually ranked as one of the top 50 bars in North America, but even the drinks weren’t really my style. We just sipped for fun and called it a experience. šŸøšŸ˜… After dinner, we rushed to the observatory before it closed at 10 pm. It was only a 10-minute drive, and the night view was totally worth it—so relaxing to just feel the breeze and take it all in. šŸŒƒšŸ’Ø LA’s sunset is seriously stunning. The city layout actually reminds me of Barcelona—mountains on one side, ocean on the other. It looks exactly like GTA 5! Almost the whole city is made up of low-rise buildings. And get this—GTA 5 came out in 2013, and even back then, women in the game were wearing yoga pants and headphones while jogging. You Americans really are something else—so ahead of the curve! šŸŽ®šŸ‘–šŸŽ§ Have you tried Mexican food in LA? Did it win you over or totally throw you off?
