Mexican Food in Salt Lake City Is So Good 😭

【Rad Iguana】 Randomly searched for a Mexican spot on the way back — nearly 10k reviews with 4.6 stars 🌟 Busy during peak hours, clearly popular with locals. We got a number, waited in the car for ~10 minutes, and were seated. So delicious! SLC folks, you’re living the good life! I’ve given the dishes casual Chinese nicknames for easy reference in the pics — we basically ordered blind. Everything was amazing, except one soup-style wrap my friend got (last photo) which had a strong, odd cinnamon flavor. 👍🏻 Killer Nachos — Mountain of Fully Loaded Nachos Four of us ate some and were already half full — this plate barely looked touched. Has everything you can imagine: meats, beans, cheese, even grilled meat! Huge portion, super flavorful. The guac tasted just like what I had in Cancun. 👍🏻 Puntas De Filete A La Norteña — Beef & Bacon in Savory Sauce A menu highlight — steak chunks, bacon, peppers in a rich, unique sauce. Tasted like a mix of curry + pasta sauce + other spices — perfect with rice or wrapped in tortillas. 👍🏻 Encebollado — Mexican-Style Sizzling Steak My personal favorite! Steak cooked perfectly — not rare like American style, yet still tender and juicy. Served with a slightly tangy & spicy onion sauce. 👌🏻 Fajitas — Sizzling Meat Platter Comes with veggies and a stack of tortillas. Really fragrant — honestly better than most fajitas I’ve had elsewhere. Every dish was massive — we packed three to-go boxes and made four big homemade burritos the next morning that were still delicious! #SaltLakeCityFood #MexicanFood #Nachos #SLCGuide 🌮🔥
