✨ Miami | Teppanyaki 🥩✨

After kayaking at Oleta River State Park with my partner, we were exhausted and randomly walked into this restaurant! From the outside, we thought it was a traditional hibachi spot like Benihana, but turns out it’s an Asian fusion place. We decided to give it a try, and wow—we were pleasantly surprised! 🔥 The vibe inside was energetic, and even though we didn’t order the teppanyaki, we could hear sizzling plates and laughter all around. Have you ever had one of those unplanned meals that just turns out amazing? Tell me in the comments! 👇💬 🥩 Red Door Deluxe – This combo included steak, lobster, and shrimp. From the very first bite, we knew it had to be cooked by a Chinese chef! Sure enough, when we asked the server, we found out the kitchen had recently switched to an all-Chinese team. The flavors felt just like home-style cooking—especially the fried rice, which tasted exactly like Yangzhou fried rice! 🍚❤️ 🥗 Spicy Kani Salad – A classic combo of imitation crab, cucumber, and spicy mayo. Surprisingly delicious and refreshing! 🍣 Mango Spicy Salmon Roll – Okay, real talk… this was the only letdown. The salmon didn’t taste very fresh, and the mango sauce was overly sweet. Let’s just say my stomach sent me some… urgent messages later. 💧😅 Even though we didn’t try the teppanyaki, as we were leaving, we saw one of the Chinese chefs doing teppanyaki tricks—he even drew a heart on the grill for some guests! Americans definitely love that kind of energy lol. Anyway, finding Chinese-style wok cooking in Miami—a place not exactly known for great Chinese food—felt like a small miracle. If you’re ever exploring the state parks nearby, you might want to stop by! 🍴 Red Door Steakhouse Hibachi 📍 3881 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach, FL 33160 💵 Around $50 per person (Note: An 18% service fee is automatically added if you order teppanyaki.)
