I rarely leave reviews, but Red Door Hibachi in North Miami deserves all the praise. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is modern, warm, and inviting—the kind of place that works for both a fun date night or a celebratory dinner with friends.
The hibachi experience was incredible. Our chef was not only skilled but also hilarious—he had the whole table laughing while effortlessly flipping shrimp tails into his hat. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp combo, and everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender, the fried rice had just the right amount of crunch, and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. They even included soup and salad with the meal, which I didn’t expect but really appreciated.
We also tried a few sushi rolls to start—super fresh, clean presentation, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. They have a huge menu, so there’s something for everyone, and the portion sizes are generous (I left with leftovers!).
Service was excellent—attentive without being overbearing. Our server noticed we ran out of yum-yum sauce and brought more without us even asking. It’s those little details that really set a place apart.
Bonus points for the late hours and chill ambiance. It’s rare to find a spot like this that hits every mark: great food, great service, great energy. Will...

Read moreThe food was not cooked properly which really ruined the experience. I've done hibachi many times and at countless amount of places and this is a place that I will not revisit. The vegetables were cooked way too short and had no hibachi flavor. The chicken was given dry and flavorless as well. When the guy served it he even offered salt and pepper in case it needs some... I have never been offered that at a hibachi place because they know it doesn't need it If it's made right. The staff was very friendly even the cook. But the food itself made the experience horrible due to the fact of having to pay almost $300 for food that we did not enjoy at all. The only food that was good was the steak because even the rice was hard and not steamed long enough... To sum it all up overpaid for food that should...
