Miami 3-Day & 3-Night Travel Guide

🚗 Car Rental at the Airport If you're flying in and mainly staying in the city, renting a car is not recommended ❌. Most rental companies are far from the terminal — requires walking + shuttle. Miami roads are chaotic — constant construction, heavy traffic, and parking is a headache 🚧🅿️! We only rented to visit Key Largo, but avoid driving to downtown restaurants — trust me on this! 🤿 Key Largo Snorkeling Booked snorkeling tickets via the John Pennekamp Park website — around $80 per person. Wetsuit, fins, and gear rentals are available and convenient 🐠. I chose the 12 PM slot for warmer water. First-time snorkeler here — it’s easier than you think! Even with basic swimming skills, fins + a life vest make it smooth 🦺. Bring a water bottle to rinse if seawater gets in your mouth, and load up on sunscreen The underwater views were decent — a bit muted due to clouds, but still a fantastic first experience! 🏨 Accommodation & Skydiving 🪂 Stayed at 📍 Parmer’s Resort — closer to Key West skydiving than staying in Key West itself. Catch the sunset at 📍 Horseshoe Beach — a short trail leads you into the sea with gorgeous views 🌅. 🏝️ Miami Beach After about 4+ hours of driving back to Miami, take a break and grab a bite. Visit 📍 South Pointe Park — stroll the pier, hit the beach, and soak up the sun 🕶️🏖️. The area is also great for wandering — don’t drive here (traffic + parking nightmares), just walk! 🏨 Miami Accommodation Stayed at 📍 Hotel Greystone — a cozy adults-only hotel steps from the beach. The hotel provides chairs and beach towels, has a restaurant and jazz bar Grab a drink and enjoy it back in your room! There’s also a partner gym a 10-minute walk away 💪. 🍴 Restaurants 📍 CVI.CHE 105 — ~$50 per person, huge portions, excellent service. Their sushi is unforgettable 🍣! 📍 Chalan on the Beach — delicious Peruvian food, two dishes will fill you up! 📍 Orange Blossom — popular breakfast spot. Avocado toast was tasty, but overall felt similar to other brunch places 😋. 🛒 Groceries 📍 Publix is perfect for supplies — good prices and everything you need! #US #Florida #Miami
