The newly opened restaurant by the famous chef Whyte Rushen on Instagram is quite unassuming from the outside, but the taste and presentation are exquisite, meeting the standards of high-end Western cuisine! For appetizers, we ordered giant clam and tuna tartare. Both portions were modest, but the flavors were rich. I preferred the clam, with its warm, tender meat paired with vinegar, which was a highlight. For the main course, we had the Tempura octopus leg, which was my favorite!! I expected the octopus to have a chewy texture, but it was incredibly tender. The chef mentioned it was boiled first and then battered and fried. Served with curry sauce and chili oil, it was a hit with Asian palates β€οΈ It was truly impressive and a must-order. We also tried the common Western dish, sweetbreads (veal thymus gland), which was served in a generous portion and had a different texture from what I've had before. This version was richer and more fatty, reminiscent of a combination of foie gras and fat. It might be a bit too rich for one person, so sharing is recommended. The signature burger is said to be the dish that made the restaurant famous. However, I found the taste to be just average, with a bread bun filled with a beef patty, cheese, and a massive amount of sauce. I personally found it slightly too sour. Overall, the restaurant was quite impressive, with standout ingredients and seasonings, offering great value compared to other Western restaurants of the same caliber. The portions are truly generous π Two appetizers and two main courses were enough for two people. You can make reservations on the restaurant's website, and I'll leave the Instagram page link at the end. #LondonLife #LondonFood #LondonExploration #LondonWesternCuisine #UK #UKLife #HiddenGemRestaurants #LondonDateNight #DateRestaurants #LondonInternetFamousRestaurants #RestaurantExploration
