Michigan | Chengdu Teahouse is Now Open in Lansing! 🍵🎉

Exciting news — the Chengdu Teahouse has officially opened in Old Town Lansing! 🏮✨ The owner, Liu Liu, is an American mom who spent 20 years in China (even longer than me! 😄) studying traditional opera and tea art. She’s not only fluent in Chinese but is now bringing authentic Chinese tea culture to Michigan! 🌟👩‍👧‍👦🌍 They soft-opened on Saturday with a traditional Chinese ceremony — complete with a lion dance! 🦁📅 On Sunday, my friends and I visited. The interior is beautifully decorated, featuring teacups from Jingdezhen and a selection of premium teas directly imported from China. We tried the lemon chrysanthemum tea and osmanthus oolong — both were delicious! ☺️🍃💛 It was so relaxing sipping tea and chatting in such a serene atmosphere.
