Middle Eastern Feast with Fall-Off-The-Bone Lamb!
I used to underestimate Middle Eastern cuisine, but when it comes to Mandi rice, you can totally trust them! 🙌 📍 House of Mandi – $33 for a huge platter 🍗 This "individual" platter is seriously massive 🥹 Two people couldn’t even finish it! Unlike Xinjiang-style hand-pulled rice, their version uses long-grain rice infused with aromatic spices. You can taste a hint of Sichuan pepper, but it’s not numbing or spicy—just delicious! Must-order: the Individual Lamb Mandi It comes with various cuts of lamb, including a tender leg piece and some gnaw-worthy bones. 🍖 If you’re with a big group, go for the larger platter with even more meat—it looks amazing! 🐟 We also tried a grilled fish—simple and fresh, around $20. But the bottom was a bit overcooked and slightly bitter by the end 😅 However! The bread served with it was incredible—like freshly baked naan, but softer and fluffier. Definitely not pre-made—you can tell it’s straight from the oven! So chewy and satisfying—clean carbs at their best [Heart Eyes R] ☕️ Right next door is a cozy coffee shop, and this plaza also has its own nut roastery selling dried fruits, chocolates, and Middle Eastern snacks—super local vibes! 😄 Have you tried Mandi before?
