Minion Cafe in Universal Studios Hollywood 🍌

Just checked out the Minion Cafe! It’s right next to the banana game 🎯～The whole place is surrounded by cute yellow Minions—everywhere you look, there’s Minion-themed decor. The vibe is so fun and perfect for a fun snack stop! 📣 No indoor seating—only outdoor tables or takeaway. Tip 📘: You can order ahead on the Universal Studios CA app. Select “Start Preparing” when you’re almost at the cafe, and the kitchen will begin making your order. The app shows the estimated pick-up time—just swing by when it’s ready. Super convenient! 🍽️ What we tried today： 🌮 El Macho's Nachos (GF) - $13.99 Nacho chips topped with white queso, chunky avocado, chicken tinga, onion, cilantro, lime crema, and pico de gallo. Very generous portions with lots of sauce—flavor is rich and leaning toward American-style. Not recommended if you’re not into heavy dressings. Good for sharing between two. 🍜 Despica-Bowl Ramen - $18.99 Roasted pork, rich pork broth, ramen noodles, marinated egg, green onions, sesame seeds. Looks like Japanese ramen, but the broth tastes more like a light American-style soup—kinda like pan-seared pork neck with hot water and salt 😅. The marinated egg was tasty, but overall the bowl is pretty mild. Not for those who prefer strong flavors. 🍗 Chicken Tenders - $15.99 Crispy chicken tenders served with cute Minion-shaped tots and BBQ sauce. The chicken was a bit dry with a thick coating—could be rough on the mouth. The Minion tots are adorable but also slightly creepy (lol). Tastes better with sauce. Overall pretty bland—recommend grabbing salt and black pepper from the condiment station. 🥤 Drinks Regular Coca-Cola. Note: If you order the Jurassic World collaboration cup, I think you get free refills! 💌 While eating outside, we could hear the staff at the banana game cheering everyone on. Their energy was as warm as the afternoon sun ☀️. If you prefer a quiet dining environment, this might not be your spot.
