Minneapolis Central Library
My child and I love exploring libraries. π Every time we visit a new city, we can't wait to check out the local library. ππΈ The Minneapolis Central Library is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from the City Hall and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. The architecture is quite distinctive - it's not old - fashioned but very modern, featuring lots of glass and skywalks connecting it to the surrounding buildings. This design is especially useful during the winter. π ππΈ However, the biggest issue is the presence of many poor people or homeless individuals using the library's computers. The air can be a bit stuffy and unpleasant, and the floors and glass doors aren't very clean. Perhaps this is a problem that big cities often face. But it's really heartbreaking. The poor have nothing, no laptops, no air conditioning. Public facilities and services are the only resources they have access to. Yet, most of them seem to be playing games or watching videos. ππΈNot only that, but I think it also affects the use of the library by others. The teen and children's sections are mostly empty of other kids. Social issues are always tough to solve. π #Library #Minnesota #Minneapolis π
