Minneapolis Institute of Art Visit Guide π¨π
πΈ First of all, this museum is completely freeπ, and it has a huge collection. I personally think it's much more worth visiting than the flour mill ruins, which cost 15πͺ. You can search for "Minneapolis Institute of Art" on the map and take a bus or taxi from downtown. π πΈ Make sure to set aside at least 2 hours for your visit. There's a cafΓ© on the first floor where you can buy food and drinks, but eating and drinking are not allowed on the second and third floors. πThe museum is closed on Mondays and opens at 10 AM, closing at 5 PM, except on Thursdays when it stays open until 9 PM. β° πΈ When you enter, grab the map (Figure 2). The second floor is the Asian section, and the third floor is dedicated to European and American art. It's definitely worth exploring. I took many photos, but nothing compares to the awe-inspiring experience of seeing the actual artworks. I was thrilled to see the real masterpieces of Monet, Van Gogh, DalΓ, Picasso, and Mondrian (except for the large one on the first floor, all of them are on the third floor, and the paintings are not very large). π You can also see sculptures, paintings, coffins, decorations, textiles, furniture, everyday items, and religious works. π There are also some interesting displays like Suzhou architecture and gardens, American room settings, and more. π¨ #NorthAmerica π
