šŸø Mirate ¹⁓|LA’s Go-To Spot for Mexican Flavors & Strong Drinks! šŸ‡²šŸ‡½

šŸ˜µšŸ’« Got so tipsy I forgot the names of several dishes… LOL it was honestly hilarious! šŸ™… The only downside: it’s super loud—everywhere, all the time. šŸ“… Reservations are a must! Otherwise, you might have to share a table if you walk in. šŸ’° We spent around 150 per person (ordered plenty of drinks), but normally it’s about 50–100. šŸ…æļø Bring cash for parking—15. Card payments cost 17. šŸø If you’re just here for drinks, there’s seating upstairs too! šŸ“ƒ The menu changes daily and can be tricky to read—I always ask the staff to explain what’s what. They also have many vegan options, so don’t be fooled by the names! āš ļø Stay safe! If you drove here, don’t overdo it with the drinks. 🌮 Now for the food: • Nopal Y PiƱa Asada: Smelled like chili oil! Combines cactus, pineapple, and cilantro—surprisingly delicious. The cactus has a slight bitterness, but I didn’t mind. Skip if you dislike bitter notes. • Guess it was Gringa Al Pastor: Made with Ahi tuna, topped with sauce and pineapple chunks—so satisfying! šŸ˜‹ • Another fish taco: Branzino, really tasty! Good for sharing—2–3 per person max, since it can get rich. • Pork taco • Black bean fried rice noodles with burrata šŸ“ Address: 1712 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027 That’s all for now! Wishing everyone a happy and fun meal! 🄰 Have you been to Mirate? What’s your favorite Mexican-inspired dish or cocktail in LA?
