MN—Dogs Can Swim in the Mississippi River 🌊
🐾🌟Minnehaha Dog Park Our first stop in Minnesota. I thought October in Minnesota would be really cold, but it was 85°F at 8 p.m. that day. 😅 Minnesota is known for its "thousand lakes," so it was perfect for bringing the dog for a swim. The park is fully fenced, and there are plenty of parking spots. However, it can get pretty busy on weekends. 🐾🌟After entering the park, you need to walk along a trail for about 15 minutes (I can't remember exactly) to get to the river. The trail is well - maintained and mostly shaded by trees, so it's not hot at all. The environment is beautiful, with tree stumps and fallen leaves along the way. The dog was already very happy before even reaching the water. 🌲🐾 The unique feature of this dog park is that the swimming area is a section of the Mississippi River. The water is flowing, and it's upstream from a waterfall. It's very clean, and there's a sandy beach. There are also some trees nearby for shade to keep you cool. Sometimes boats pass by, and Levie weaves through the waves, having the time of his life. 🐾🌟 #DogLifeInNorthAmerica #MiniAussie #LexLevie 🐾🌟
