Mobile’s Amazing Restaurant | Original Oyster House

Tucked away on a highway that connects islands, the Original Oyster House feels like it’s built on super low-lying land—back in the day, this spot was probably a marsh!😬😬😬 The restaurant is incredibly popular—business is booming, and it’s packed with diners (you can tell it’s a local favorite!). The food is just as fantastic, too—I especially loved the shrimp—so delicious, I couldn’t get enough of it 😋! The best part? We got to enjoy our dinner with a stunning sunset right outside the window—good food paired with a beautiful view? Total perfection 🌇! The restaurant is full of cool decor, like tons of old photos. It seems they host fishing tournaments—there are loads of photos from sea fishing trips. There are also pictures documenting how the restaurant was hit by major hurricanes over the years. You can see the owner smiling and taking photos even when the restaurant was flooded by seawater—what an optimistic person!😬😬😬 The total bill was only $150—such a great deal for the food and experience 💸! #OriginalOysterHouse #SeafoodDinner #SunsetViews #AlabamaFoodie
