Montenegrin Seafood in Berlin | Enjoying a Midweek Feast 🥢
The owner brought his fish restaurant from Belgrade to Germany. 🌍 He has always specialized in traditional Montenegrin fish and Mediterranean seafood dishes. Their signature offerings are wine, seafood platters, and grilled fish. However, the whole fish requires advance reservation, which we didn't get this time. The hostess was incredibly warm and engaging, making the experience quite delightful. 😊 We were a group of six. 👥 We ordered the No. 23 Chef’s Surprise Tapas, which included five small dishes, and two portions of the No. 24 classic Montenegrin 🇲🇪 seafood platter for two (each slightly different). We also enjoyed a bottle of Rotling wine, which was simply delicious. I just kept sipping it without much finesse. 😁 Everyone in the group agreed that the food was quite tasty and enjoyable. 👍 However, I personally encountered some bitter mussels and squid with sand, which was a bit of a letdown. I guess it was just bad luck! Thankfully, the delicious little potatoes saved the day. Overall, I felt it wasn't as good as some of the trendy seafood places I’ve tried. 😔 Restaurant Name: Lesendro 🏡 Address: Bugenhagenstrasse 19, Arminiusmarkthalle Markthallen Bar, 10551 Berlin Average Cost: Around 30 euros per person. 💰 The restaurant is located inside a food market hall, and there are likely other great options within the Halle. Berlin has several of these market halls, each offering unique culinary experiences. 🍽️ #BerlinDiary #BuildingBiggerJaws #GermanStudentLife #SeafoodLover #HiddenGemRestaurant #BerlinExploration #BerlinCuisine #BerlinDaily #NotebookInspiration
