Montenegro Food Guide Pt.1 – Kotor 🇲🇪
Just spent 6 days and 5 nights in Montenegro with friends, eating out every day—zero disappointments! Here are our top picks for delicious spots in Kotor! Mostly seafood-focused, fresh and high quality. You can’t go wrong with seafood here. 📍 Kotor 1️⃣ Bastion 3 (no photos) A cozy, old-school restaurant. Their meat platter is solid, portions are huge, and the value is unbeatable. 💰 Under €20/person 2️⃣ Konoba Portun (P1-2) So good we went twice! Daytime: Grab a seat by the sea 🌊 Nighttime: Chill in the rustic indoor space 🕯️ Their seafood pasta is absolutely divine—packed with more seafood than noodles. We devoured it and immediately ordered another round. Voted "Best Seafood Pasta in Montenegro" by our group! The seafood platter (shrimp, squid ink risotto, salmon, baby squid, sea bass) is also a must-try. 💰 ~€35/person (if you go all out on seafood) 3️⃣ Pronto (no photos) A pizza gem in Kotor’s Old Town. Huge portions, crispy crusts, and wallet-friendly. 💰 €6/person ⚠️ Cash only! 4️⃣ Conte Restaurant (P3-4) Located in Perast, this waterfront spot offers stunning bay views. Their ice coffee (with a scoop of gelato!) was a hit. The seafood platter and other dishes were flawless, though portions are smaller than Konoba Portun’s. 💰 ~€35/person #MontenegroFood #KotorEats #BalkanTravel #TravelFromUK #SeafoodHeaven
