Since my Montreal trip was super last-minute, I miraculously booked all these popular spots within a week! Sharing my wins (and eats) for fellow P-types who wing it 😉 🍽️ Restaurants 🥂 Mon Lapin The unicorn reservation! Got a 10pm slot (😅) by stalking Resy notifications. Tiny wine bar with insanely thoughtful drinks/food pairings. Staff knew every detail—worth the late-night feast! 🍖 Monarque Easier to book—snagged a week out! Fancy French with velvety veal cheek and dreamy éclairs. (Plating’s meh, but flavors deliver.) 🥩 Modavie Walk-in friendly! Live jazz + tourist-area location > food (which was just okay). Solid backup plan! 🍟 Dunn’s Famous Zero reservation needed! 1pm = no line. Smoked meat poutine and sandwiches = hearty classics. ☕ Cafes 🥐 La Cave à Manger Underrated gem! Fresh croissants (ham & cheese / chocolate swirl) still warm at 4pm. Even the plain one slaps. 🍰 Accio Cup Post-Mount Royal pitstop!
