🍜 Montreal Food Guide | Honest Reviews to Avoid Regrets!
Sharing my personal dining experiences during my trip to Montreal (just my opinion, for reference!). 🍜 Asian Cuisine 1️⃣ Sansotei Ramen | 3/5🌟 Ordered Tonkotsu Black and regular Tonkotsu. Broth was decent but not outstanding, noodles were standard. Solid but forgettable. 2️⃣ New Oriental | 5/5🌟💯 Zhejiang-style flavors that hit the spot for this Hangzhou native! Pre-ordered braised duck and "Yan Du Xian" (salted pork & bamboo shoot soup)—both were fantastic. The duck was tender and flavorful, just like back home. The soup was rich, and the ribs fell off the bone. Pet-friendly restaurant 🐶, big plus! 3️⃣ i am pho | 3/5🌟 Tried the spicy sour pho and regular beef pho. Preferred the spicy version—the regular one had bland broth and soft noodles. Beef was just okay. 4️⃣ Pho Binh | 5/5🌟🔥 Best pho in town! Chewy noodles, fragrant broth, and tender beef. Ate here twice in a week—that says it all! 5️⃣ Fu Chun Soup Dumplings | Not Recommended 🚫 Only the pork soup dumplings and beef potstickers were passable. The rest? Hard pass. Don’t go out of your way for this. 6️⃣ Daldongnae Korean BBQ | 2/5🌟 Meat portions were small, and the lighting was so dim we couldn’t tell if the meat was cooked 😅. Side dishes and service were fine, but not worth it overall. 🍳 Brunch/Western 1️⃣ Allô! Mon Coco | 3/5🌟 A chain breakfast spot. The beef sandwich was way too salty. Forgettable meal. 2️⃣ Cora Breakfast and Lunch | 4/5🌟 Ordered a hot dog and burrito—huge portions! Tasty at first but got heavy fast. Service was slow ⏳, better for a lazy brunch. 📌 Final Thoughts Must-Try 🏆: New Oriental (Zhejiang cuisine) and Pho Binh (pho)! Skip ❌: Fu Chun and Daldongnae BBQ—saving you time and money! For brunch, pick Cora over Allô! Mon Coco. 📍 Check Google for addresses~ #MontrealEats #CanadaTravel #FoodieGuide #HonestReviews #EatLikeALocal
