Let me show you the romance of the Indian Ocean first! 🌊💙 🚗 A Fairytale 2-Hour Road Trip Driving south from Swellendam, we passed endless vineyards and golden wheat fields... until the roar of the Indian Ocean woke us up! 🌾➡️🌊 Our hotel, The Point Hotel & Spa, was literally welded to the coastline! Opening the balcony to crashing waves—falling asleep to ocean white noise? Pure magic! 😴✨ 🌉 Lighthouse Romance, Cao Cao-Style Climbing up to the lighthouse viewpoint, I finally understood Cao Cao’s famous line: "I come to view the boundless ocean!" 🌊🏰 Waves slammed against black reefs, while dassies (rock hyraxes) put on a show—some munching on plants, others napping between rocks... This is the true art of slow living! 🐇💤 🍴 Seafood Feast + Alcohol-Free Beer Must-try: The seafood platter at Kingfisher Restaurant! 🦐🐙 Mussels, prawns, and squid—grilled to perfection (way better than that overhyped tourist trap!). And Savana, South Africa’s iconic alcohol-free beer, tastes like sparkling apple juice—I chugged the whole bottle! 🍻😋 🌙 Midnight Thrills (Fake Scare Edition) Walking back to the hotel along a dark coastal path, I death-gripped my empty glass bottle as a "weapon"... 😅 But then—warm campsite lights appeared, and suddenly, the world felt cozy again.
