Mount Rainier's Paradise - November 2nd ๐๏ธ
Made a last-minute weekend trip to Paradise at Mount Rainier! The drive from Seattle took about 2.5 hours, and we could enter the park without an entrance fee ๐๐จ. The scenery along the way was stunning โ endless pine forests, winding mountain roads, and the distant snow-capped peak instantly shifted our mood into full outdoor mode ๐ฒโ๏ธ. We arrived at the Paradise parking lot around 12 PM, and there were still plenty of spots available. That said, Iโd recommend heading up earlier for quieter trails and easier parking ๐ ฟ๏ธ. The weather up there was chilly, shifting between sunshine and light snow flurries โ a windproof jacket and non-slip shoes are a must! ๐งฅ๐ Since we brought along our 4- and 5-year-olds, we stuck to one of the main trails and didnโt make it to Myrtle Falls this time โ a bit of a bummer, but still a lovely day ๐. By 3:30 PM, as we started heading back, the setting sun lit up the snowy peak, making the whole mountain glowโฆ absolutely magical! โจ๐๏ธโค๏ธ #MountRainier #Paradise #SeattleDayTrip #SeattleLife #SnowyPeaks #PNWonders #FamilyHike
