Mount Robson | I’d Call It Canada’s “Mount Everest” 🏔️

Canada’s two most popular national parks—without a doubt, they’re Banff and Jasper! And Mount Robson (Mt Robson) in Mount Robson Provincial Park, which neighbors Jasper, is actually called Canada’s “Mount Everest” by netizens! I was confused at first 😲—Mount Robson is 3,954 meters above sea level, so how is it “Everest”? Later, I realized it’s because Mount Robson and Mount Everest have very similar outlines 😆, and the difference in their prominence (the height they rise above the surrounding terrain) isn’t huge. It really does feel like a “replica of Everest”! Especially on sunny days ☀️ when the mountain top is visible, looking up from the foot of the mountain, the visual impact is strong—it’s like a giant Buddha statue standing there. What’s more, it’s the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies and the second-highest peak in British Columbia. The park has multiple hiking trails 🎒, with the Berg Lake Trail being the most popular. The Berg Lake Trail is 23 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of 800 meters, and there are 7 campsites along the way 🏕️. 🥾 Travel Itinerary: 1️⃣ DAY 1: Vancouver - Kamloops - Mount Robson - Jasper National Park 2️⃣ DAY 2: Maligne Lake - Medicine Lake - Maligne Canyon - Patricia Lake - Pyramid Lake 3️⃣ DAY 3: Icefields Parkway - Columbia Icefield - Bow Lake - Lake Abraham - Banff Town 4️⃣ DAY 4: Emerald Lake - Natural Bridge - Lake Louise - Lake Minnewanka - Two Jack Lake - Banff Town 5️⃣ DAY 5: Banff Town - Sulphur Mountain Gondola - Johnston Canyon - Calgary ✅ Must-Try Experiences: 🔸 Sulphur Mountain Gondola: Take in the views of Banff National Park from above 🔸 Johnston Canyon: Hike to explore unique geological wonders and waterfalls 🔸 Maligne Lake Cruise: Sail on the lake and soak in the peaceful, charming scenery 🔸 Icefield Snow Coach Adventure: Ride the Columbia Icefield’s large-wheel snow coach and traverse ancient glaciers #SoulAndBodyOnTheRoad #Glacier #SnowyMountain #HikingToMeasureTheWorld #MyOffTheBeatenPathTravelGuide #OutdoorHiking #Travel #MyTravelDiary #SceneryOnTheJourney #YouNeedToSeeTheWorldToHaveAWorldview #StudyingInCanada #CanadianImmigration #CanadianHiking #MyHikingDiary
