MSU Area Chinese Food Guide 🍽️🎏

➡️ Everyday Chinese Basically the most hyped spot on Xiaohongshu—no need for more intro! Personally, I’m obsessed with their dim sum (rare find: actually hand-made, not frozen!). Must-try: Peking Duck (2-way for spice lovers: pick the crispy bone version—perfect with beer!). Heads-up: Pancakes are thick, and extra cucumbers/pickles cost $5. Free refills would be 👌✨. ➡️ Royal Pot My vote for Michigan’s BEST Szechuan food! Massive portions, killer value—zero misses on their menu. Regular orders: Spicy Chicken 🌶️ Mala Xiang Guo (dry pot) — chef’s kiss! ➡️ Hong’s Café Late-night savior! (Open till 2AM 🕑). Leans Szechuan, but portions run small. Bonus: Bubble tea menu 🧋 + pool tables 🎱 = prime midnight snack spot! ➡️ Chef Gong’s Craving Dongbei cuisine? This is it. Mixed reviews, but my take: Pros: HUGE portions (feed 3-4 with one dish!). Cons: Slow service—pre-order or wait 30+ mins. Try: Guo Bao Rou (warning: thick batter), Big Plate Chicken, Sauerkraut Pork Bone Stew. Best for group dinners (pricey but shareable). ➡️ Zhen Ramen Solid ramen spot (visited 2-3x). Highlights: Takoyaki (actual octopus inside! 🐙 > Koala’s version). Spicy Noodles & Sour Soup Beef Noodles = ✅. Skip: Plain broth ramen/rice—kinda bland. ➡️ Fueld Lansing’s health-food GEM (4.9⭐!). I eat here 3-4x/week—no joke. Customizable: Stir-fried rice/noodles Poke bowls 🍣 Salads 🥗 (Check my profile—I’m obsessed.) #LansingEats #MSU #AnnArbor #MichiganState #MichiganFoodie #MSUDining #LansingFood
