Munich | Great Value Michelin Two-Star 🌟🌟 Tantris
🌟 Recently, Tantris has been running an under35 event, allowing young people to experience fine dining. 🥪 When making a reservation, we were told that dinner reservations are only available on the waiting list, but lunch times are very flexible. We booked for our desired date for the 120 euro 4-course menu with wine pairing, and it felt like a steal not to go, haha! 1️⃣ Five finger foods to start Mostly crispy chips with ingredients, sweet onions in the leaves, salmon roe with sashimi, and the red beet chips were all delicious. 2️⃣ Choose your own pasta 3️⃣ Duck Liver The first appetizer, a caramelized crispy chip topped with duck liver, had an ice cream mousse-like texture and was just the right portion, not too rich. 4️⃣ Tomato with Potatoes (I really don’t remember the exact dish names, haha) 5️⃣ Crab The highlight of the meal, truly delicious. The crab meat was fresh, and there was even sturgeon roe under the crispy chip and the vegetable leaf. 6️⃣ Lamb One side charred, the other slightly grilled, but the meat itself was probably only medium rare, making it hot and not raw to the taste. Simply amazing. 7️⃣ Dessert A stack of crispy chips, ice cream, and apples, about five or six layers in total, 😋 8️⃣ Ended with an Espresso and a small cake, quite standard. The apéritif champagne, the wines with each course, were all slightly acidic, dry, and some had an apple aroma. They seem to love using crispy chips, tomatoes, apples, and sour flavors, haha. The ambiance was top-notch, with everyone maintaining a pleasant volume, making for a great dining experience. Service was impeccable; utensils were changed with each course, the plate temperature matched the food, and there was service for seating and leaving. No distinction was made for ordering the offer, and each dish and wine was explained. We even got an extra round of bread, haha. Worth mentioning, the water was free-flowing and not charged extra, unlike other places where a bottle is 10 euros. Definitely worth experiencing, great value. #Munich #MunichDaily #MunichCuisine #MunichMichelin #MichelinTwoStars #finedining
