Munich | Sunday Hangout Spot
Take the U3 subway to Tierpark, and after a short walk, you're there! 🚇🐾 In Germany, most places are closed on Sundays, and I didn’t feel like visiting tourist spots (too far away 😑), so I decided to go to the nearby zoo. The Sunday opening hours are from 9am to 5pm. You can easily spend half a day here—it’s enough time! It was cold and rainy 🌧️, probably because it’s winter, so many of the animals didn’t come out and stayed indoors. But we still managed to see most of them... except for the monkeys (which my friend was really looking forward to!). 😂 I arrived around 1:30 pm and left at 4:50 pm. It takes about 3-4 hours to see everything! The zoo is pretty big, so it’s worth walking around. There’s also a petting zoo where you can get up close and touch the sheep! 🐑 They’re super cute and friendly! Just be prepared—the smell is... well, very “natural,” if you know what I mean. 😂 Overall, it’s a great way to pass the time on a Sunday when everything else is closed. Just a heads-up: the food and drinks inside are quite expensive, so I recommend eating lunch beforehand and bringing your own water. 💧🍴 #Germany #LifeInGermany #GermanSundays #Munich #MunichDailyLife #MunichZoo #WhatToDoInMunich #MunichLife
