Must-Eat Food in Seattle 🇺🇸

Though Seattle is often called a "food desert" 😅, there are still some spots I frequent. Here are a few restaurants I've visited at least three times—these are just my personal favorites! Hope this helps you discover some delicious eats in Seattle! 😋 Paju In my opinion, the ultimate fusion cuisine in Seattle! 🤩 I've been obsessed with this place for three years and even miss it when I'm away from Seattle. Must-orders include the octopus leg, mushrooms, and Paju fried rice. Their beef tartare is exceptional—the meat quality is so good, unlike others that taste like "filling" 🥟. The octopus leg is incredibly tender with a unique seasoning—it's my absolute favorite 🥰. Mushroom lovers must try their mixed mushroom dish with Parm—so fragrant and delicious that my friend even tried to recreate it at home! Their desserts are also intriguing, like the ginger bingsu with cream and crispy textures. At first, I wasn't sure about the ginger flavor, but now I'm hooked and order it every time. 😋 Crepe de France A hidden gem in Pike Place Market, this French dessert spot is my go-to comfort food when I'm feeling down 🥲. My favorite is the strawberry and vanilla cream crepe—fresh strawberries paired with lightly chilled cream, not overly sweet but refreshingly satisfying 🍓. For Nutella lovers, try the Nutella with banana or strawberry options, but be warned: the banana version is super sweet—watch your teeth! 🦷💥 Pike Place Chowder A long-standing award-winning chowder shop in Pike Place Market 🏆. Their signature sourdough bread bowl is a standout—so filling that it could last two meals for those with smaller appetites 😮. The lobster roll is also popular, but I find it a bit pricey 💸. You might want to check out Luke's next door instead. Their chowder is a tad salty for my taste, so it's best paired with bread 🥖. A+ Hongkong Kitchen My personal record: three visits in one week! 🏃‍♀️💨 Their beef brisket with rice noodles and beef brisket hot pot are my absolute favorites, while my boyfriend loves their clay pot rice 👫. This place is way better than other similar spots, though the downside is the small space—sometimes you'll have to wait 🕒. The pork knuckle hot pot and fried dough sticks are also delicious 🤤. The red wontons are just okay, but I have such a soft spot for this place that I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Still, you must try the beef brisket with rice noodles or hot pot 😼. #InternationalStudentEats #FoodieRecommendationsNoRegrets #StudyAbroadFoodExploration #SatisfyYourChineseCravings #Seattle #SeattleEats #SeattleStudyAbroad #PikePlaceMarket #FoodExpert
