Must-Eat Foods in New Orleans 🦪🦞

It’s only my second day in New Orleans, and I woke up super early! ⏰ As a serious food lover, my first mission in any new city is to hunt down delicious restaurants and treat my stomach right—haha! 😄 Today’s pick was Corner Oyster House, located right across from the Mississippi River. The restaurant has a lovely Spanish vibe, and the staff were super friendly! 👨🍳❤️ They recommended the Blackened Redfish served over a bed of crawfish pasta—and I highly recommend it too! You get both fish and crawfish in one dish, and the best part? You don’t have to peel the crawfish yourself—so satisfying! 🐟🦞 The oysters were incredibly fresh 🦪, served with lemon 🍋, cocktail sauce, and tartar sauce. The combination was absolutely divine! The oysters were creamy, smooth, and had a sweet aftertaste—I couldn’t stop after just one and ended up finishing the whole plate without even realizing it! I have a feeling I’ll be eating oysters and crawfish nonstop until I leave NOLA! 🤤 After breakfast, I headed across the street to Cafe du Monde and ordered an Iced Café au Lait 🧊☕—it was so refreshing and delicious! The staff there are older but full of energy and so dedicated—truly inspiring! 👍 Then I took a stroll to Jackson Square, saw the stunning St. Louis Cathedral, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere with fortune tellers, painters, and street performers everywhere. 🎨🔮 And I can’t forget to mention last night’s dinner at Fiery Crab Seafood Restaurant and Bar! We two devoured 6 pounds of crawfish and two dozen oysters! 🦞 Recommended flavors: Garlic Butter and Fiery Special. If you like spicy, go for the hot level—it’s even tastier! 🌶️ We ordered raw oysters and garlic-roasted oysters—both were awesome. Since we skipped carbs, we finished everything just right. Totally worth it! 😊 The meaning of travel? It’s about wandering around, experiencing different city cultures and foods, slowing down the pace of life, and just… eating and playing happily! 🌍🍴 Have you been to Corner Oyster House or Fiery Crab?
