Must-Try Brunch Spots in Hawaii! Have You Been to These 7? 🍍
As a self-proclaimed "global food blogger," nothing makes me happier than sharing delicious discoveries with you all 😊. And now — as promised — here’s my Hawaii Brunch Guide! 1️⃣ Egghead Cafe ⭐ A unique spot blending breakfast classics with Taiwanese flavors! Perfect for egg lovers — you really can’t go wrong here. 📍 Just 8 minutes from the airport — ideal for that last-minute meal before your flight! ✈️ 2️⃣ Ali'i Coffee Co. ⭐ A popular local chain where everything on the menu is a win! I originally came for the ube milk, but ended loving their savory breakfast items just as much. 🍯 For those watching sugar — ask for half-sweet in your drinks! 3️⃣ Ginza Bairin Tonkatsu ⭐ You can’t visit Hawaii without trying Japanese food! I recommend two tonkatsu spots: Ginza Bairin Tonkatsu Tamafuji Both came highly recommended by locals. Go for lunch — Ginza Bairin serves only 25 limited portions daily ⏰. Their special pork cutlet is rich and flavorful — the star of the menu! 📌 Reservations are a must. Pair your visit with a day at Waikiki Beach! 4️⃣ Koko Head Cafe ⭐ Must-orders: Volcano Eggs + Breakfast Congee — you’ll thank me later! 🍹 For drinks, try the POG (Passionfruit-Orange-Guava) — a refreshing Hawaiian classic! 5️⃣ Japanese Food Hall Favorites ⭐ Inside a local food court, three spots stood out: Taiwan Noodle : Customizable noodle thickness — just like the bowls I had in Taiwan! Their open-top potstickers are also delicious. Tempura Kiki Rated 4.8 for a reason! Don’t miss their fried eel — absolutely unforgettable. 6️⃣ Marugame Udon ⭐ A popular udon chain with lines out the door daily! Located near downtown, they serve affordable udon and tempura. Great for a quick, satisfying meal. 7️⃣ Hawaiian Classics: Loco Moco & Plate Lunch ⭐ I’ll skip naming the specific spot here — while it’s well-known, I have to be honest: Plate lunches just aren’t my thing 😬. Even my local friend who took me agreed — it’s more about trying the “local vibe” than the flavor. #MandyInNYC #GlobalFoodie #HawaiiBrunch #HonoluluEats #BigIsland #HawaiiFoodGuide
