🌟 Must-Try Food in Asheville, NC ‼️
1️⃣ Stone Bowl Korean Restaurant 🇰🇷 Authentic Korean cuisine! I had the eel stone bowl, and my boyfriend had the pork belly stone bowl—both were delicious 😋. Portions are huge though—recommend sharing one bowl between two people! We also ordered pork bone soup 🍲, which was good, but I’m not a big soup person so I just picked out the tofu and meat 😂. BTW their potato side dish is amazing! Tastes like sweet and sour potatoes—so addictive! 2️⃣ Shanghai Dumpling House 🥢 Found this Chinese spot on DoorDash and decided to give it a try—was pleasantly surprised! Their wontons in chili oil are probably the most authentic I’ve had in the US 🌶️. The soup dumplings (XLB) are also good, but skip the pan-fried buns—they’re kinda dry. We also got pineapple fried rice 🍍🍚, which was tasty—I picked out all the shrimp lol 🍤. 3️⃣ Isa‘s French Bistro 🇫🇷 A French restaurant that only serves brunch in the morning. We went because we saw a long line and got curious… waited an hour to get in + another 30 mins for the food 🥲. I ordered Eggs Benedict du Jour 🍳, and my boyfriend had the French Dip 🥪. Verdict: food is delicate and tasty, but not mind-blowing. Still, great if you’re into the French vibe! 4️⃣ Red Ginger Dimsum and Tapas 🥟 A popular Cantonese dim sum place (thanks, Xiaohongshu!), but we ended up ordering Sichuan-style dishes 😂. We got homestyle tofu, curry crab 🦀, spicy chicken 🌶️, and green beans—all requested “extra spicy” but still pretty mild. The curry crab was my fave—weird Thai-ish flavor at first, but super addictive! The tofu was just okay—not highly recommended. #StudyAbroadLife #EastCoastUSA #NorthCarolina #AshevilleEats #FoodRecs #SpringBreakTravels
