Must-Try Spots at Pike Place Market 📍

1. Pika Place Chowder 🥣 This spot’s super popular on Xiaohongshu 📕, but my take? It’s like falling for someone at first sight, only to want to run for the hills after a real chat 😂. The walls are lined with awards as soon as you walk in—my expectations were through the roof! I got the New England Clam Chowder, Salmon Chowder, and Lobster Rolls. The chowders were way too salty—honestly, the random chowder I had at Disneyland LA tastes way better 🤷‍♀️. The lobster rolls were just so-so too. For a great one, check out the LA Universal Studios spot I recommended on my page 😋! 2. Half Shell 🦞 10/10 highly recommend! The seafood is incredible—you HAVE to get their seafood platter!!! We ordered the Salish Sampler, with shrimp, snow crab, scallops, black pomfret, and half a dozen oysters 🦪. The dipping sauce for the platter is chef’s kiss—and it’s free refills! We got more so many times 🥳. They also serve two kinds of crackers, one of which is insanely tasty. I mustered up the courage to ask the server which one it was when we paid (I wanted to buy it for home 🤣), and they were super nice to tell me it’s Ritz crackers—now I’m obsessed and stock up nonstop 🛒. We also got the Warm Pull Apart Potato Rolls (4 per serving) 🥖—seasoned with thyme salt and butter, warm and absolutely delicious! And the Double R Ranch Hanger Steak 🥩—it was so good I forgot to take a photo 📸! Also a must-try! Medium doneness was perfect, and the steak fries on the side were amazing too—we devoured them in less than 3 minutes 😋. P.S. Their drinks are great too 🍷! 3. The Pink Door 🌸 This spot’s pretty popular too, and the location is a bit tricky to find. The food is overall edible, with a few standouts. We got the classic antipasto of the house 🧀—with ham, Tuscan bean salad, mozzarella, olive tapenade, roasted veggies, etc. Tastes great, definitely worth a try! Linguine alle Vongole 📜—total forgettable pasta, nothing to say about it… Pink Door Caesar 🥗—just average, nothing special. Oregon Country Natural Beef Tenderloin 🥩—served with pesto and anchovy-garlic oil potatoes. Medium doneness, the meat itself was fine but the texture was just so-so—Half Shell’s steak is way better by a mile! #Seattle #SeattleEats #PikePlaceMarket #PikePlaceEats #SeafoodLovers #Chowder #SteakTime #SeattleFoodie
