Must-Visit in May! Dublin Zoo Is the Ultimate Feel-Good Spot 💯
Summer is finally here in Dublin, and today I’m recommending an amazing place that’s perfect for the season: Dublin Zoo! Located within Phoenix Park, it’s one of Ireland’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing over a million visitors each year. Established in 1831 and spanning 28 hectares, it’s the fourth oldest zoo in Europe. 🌳 🎈 The zoo is divided into various themed areas. Besides the usual lions, tigers, and African animals, there’s also a newly opened nocturnal animal section. 🦁🐯 🦕 Starting in 2025, the zoo launched an exciting new “Zoorassic Trail” dinosaur exhibition, featuring over 40 life-like animatronic dinosaur models, including a 65-foot Brachiosaurus and a 40-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex. The exhibit is included in the regular zoo admission, with no extra charge! 🦕 🎈 It takes about 2 to 3 hours to explore the zoo. Opening hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, with the last entry at 5:00 p.m. 🕰️ 🎫 Tickets are best purchased online in advance, and booking five days ahead offers the best deal! With student discounts, the cheapest price is €15.40. 🎫 🚥 To get there, take the Luas Red Line to Heuston Station, then catch bus number 99 right to the zoo entrance! 🚌 🍽️ I recommend bringing your own food. There are restaurants inside the zoo, but I didn’t visit them. From what I saw, the prices are similar to those outside. With the lovely May weather, gather your friends and classmates and soak up the sunshine! ☀️ Shared by the Trinity College Dublin China Campus Ambassador @Saladdays1129 #Ireland #MyLife #DailyVlog #Dublin #TrinityCollegeDublin #GoodLifeDocumenter #SharingMyDaily
