Must-Visit Spots in Frankfurt 🇩🇪✨
This time, I explored Frankfurt’s Old Town (Altstadt) and discovered some amazing places!✨✨✨✨ Städel Museum 🎨 The Städel Museum is currently hosting a Rembrandt exhibition, featuring loaned masterpieces like "The Blinding of Samson" and "Self-Portrait." I was hoping to see "The Night Watch," but it wasn’t there—maybe only available in Amsterdam! 🖼️ Getting there: Just a 13-minute walk from the main train station, passing the Holbeinsteg Bridge, which is perfect for photos (way less crowded!).✨✨ Bonus: The nearby Liebieghaus Sculpture Museum is reopening in November—heard great reviews!✨ Goethe House & German Romanticism Museum 🏛️📚 Located just two subway stops from the train station (or a nice walk). The ticket covers both the Goethe House and the German Romanticism Museum (DRM)—totally worth it!✨✨ The exhibits are huge, taking 2-3 hours to explore, with immersive installations that make history come alive.✨ Römerberg (Roman Square) ⛲ The heart of the Old Town, home to the Frankfurt City Hall (Römer) and the Tourist Info Center (though they charge 50 cents for a map—unlike most places where it’s free!). The Statue of Justice stands proudly in front. A short walk leads to the Historical Museum Frankfurt, great for diving deeper into the city’s past. Eiserner Steg (Iron Bridge) 🌉 Right next to Römerberg, best visited at sunset—stunning views but packed with tourists (hard to get a people-free shot!). Main Tower 🏙️ Super crowded! The line was insane—first time seeing so many tourists post-pandemic.✨ Pro tip: Go early in the morning to avoid the rush.✨✨ On the way, you’ll pass the giant Euro sculpture—great photo op! 💶📸 #Germany #TravelGermany #Frankfurt #CityExploration #ArtLovers #HistoricSites #SkylineViews ✨✨✨
