Having tried over 50 BBQ joints of all sizes with him—including the famous Pecan Lodge, Hutchins, and Franklin’s (which used to have waiting times of over 5 hours pre-pandemic just for a meal)—I still highly recommend Lane’s Oak’d BBQ. Many BBQ places focus solely on the meat, which can get quite greasy. Lane’s Oak’d BBQ has a wide variety of side dishes and truly exceptional desserts.
