🎉 My Birthday Celebration! 🎉

First of all, let me just say – this is the most luxurious hotel in Seattle! 🏙️✨ Every single staff member was absolutely wonderful – from the valet attendants and front desk ambassadors 🛎️, to the lovely receptionists, maintenance crew, and even the folks behind the phones who seamlessly connected me to the restaurant. From the servers to the team clearing tables – everyone was warm, welcoming, and more than happy to help with a smile. 😊💖 The view from the room was absolutely incredible, absolutely spectacular. Everything was comfortable, everything felt luxurious – the hotel room had everything I could’ve wished for! 🛏️🌃 Sometimes, what’s happening right in front of us – or what we expect to happen – isn’t the full story. Because behind the scenes is where the real magic happens: how people treat you, the little precious moments you notice when you’re not overly focused on your own situation. Let me explain a bit more! This was a major milestone for me: I planned my 70th birthday meticulously – a beautiful dress, lovely shoes, a fancy dinner, and a glowing night admiring the city. 🥳👗 The hotel welcomed me with champagne and a gorgeous little chocolate dessert. I was thrilled with my room, took photos (which I’ll share!), and was ready to celebrate… but unfortunately, I got sick. 🤒 I had a 7 PM reservation, but I was still curled under the covers, struck by a stomach virus. I had to cancel my dinner – something I couldn’t change, no matter how much I wanted to. 😔 By the next morning, I was still a bit shaky, but I was determined to at least have breakfast and enjoy my Eggs Benedict! I made it to the restaurant, found a table with a beautiful view, and ordered oatmeal and coffee. But after just a few sips and bites, I had to head back to my room. Soon after, I threw up the oatmeal and coffee – a clear sign I needed to check out early, even though I had a full day planned. 🥺 On the drive home in my Denali truck, I got sick again. It was so disappointing. 😞 But once I got home, all I could think about was how beautiful the hotel was, and how special every person working there made me feel – sincere, genuine, and kind. That warmth truly made everything feel a little better. ❤️ I will have my 70th birthday luxury hotel celebration again – and this time, no viruses allowed! When you truly believe you are worthy, loved, and that life is good – it comes back to you.
