My Favorite Bakery in Maine 🥐

Before leaving Portland, I made one last stop at this beloved bakery 🏃♀️💨 — they supply bread to many local restaurants (including the amazing Street & Co., where I first tried their Rustica loaf — seriously, that place is so good too! Highly recommend!!). Here’s what I tried — and loved: 🥐 Prosciutto & Asiago Croissant Braided beautifully ✨ Golden, flaky, filled with salty prosciutto and creamy asiago — a perfect savory treat! 🧀 Asiago Fougasse Chewy bread with rich asiago flavor… though a bit oily on top. 🥧 Plum Frangipane Tart Buttery almond filling topped with tangy plum slices — so flavorful! The almond taste is strong (maybe a hint of extract?), and the fruit changes with the season 🍑🍓 🍫 Chocolate Cork Coffee-soaked chocolate cake covered in cocoa nibs — incredibly moist, rich, and bittersweet. Melts in your mouth! ☕❤️ 🫶 Regular Go-Tos: 🥖 Rustica Loaf My absolute favorite! Soft, chewy, perfect for sandwiches 🥪 — a must-try for high-hydration bread lovers! 🧱 Chocolate Pecan Financier Sweet? Yes. But so moist with that caramelized crust… life’s too short not to treat yourself sometimes 🍯😉 Pair it with an Americano! If you’re in Portland, don’t miss this place — whether for a croissant, a loaf, or something sweet! #Portland #MaineBakery #MaineEats #FoodieFavorites #BakeryLove 🥨❤️
