My Favorite Restaurant: CUCINA urbana
š505 Laurel St, San Diego, CA 92101 Last weekend, after strolling through Balboa Park, my friend and I dropped by this restaurantāitās just next to the park, within walking distance, super convenient š. As soon as we entered, we were amazed! The ambiance is absolutely stunning ācozy lighting, vintage decor, and a stylish patio that completely sets the mood āØ. This is a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but it doesnāt feel intimidating at all. Instead, itās as welcoming as a neighborhood kitchen š½ļø. We ordered the famous short rib pasta. The tender braised short ribs paired with a red wine sauce were incredibly satisfying with every bite š! My friend said itās the best pasta sheās had in San Diego, and Iām already planning to come back just for this dishļ½ We also tried the meatballāfirm and flavorful with a rich sauce š. However, the portion is quite generous, so itās better to share with others to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Pairing it with a fresh salad balanced the taste perfectly š„. Overall, CUCINA urbana didnāt disappoint, from the ambiance to the food. Itās great for both dates and casual gatherings with friends š. If youāre visiting San Diego, be sure to stop by after exploring Balboa Parkļ½ #SanDiegoFood #MichelinRecommended #CozyRestaurant #PastaLover #TravelDiary #FoodieAdventure #CaliforniaLife
