My Favorite Yakitori Spot in LA — Taberu 🍢✨

This Mid-Autumn Festival, instead of joining the crowds at Chinese restaurants, I booked this longtime-bookmarked izakaya in LA. Their yakitori selection is rich and juicy (though they don’t have or chicken skin skewers). The unagi rice bowl is also delicious. Not recommending their Wagyu skewer—$30 for three tiny pieces… better to go to Niku X or Gyu-Kaku for all-you-can-eat! But their cocktails are fantastic—many light, slightly sweet options perfect for girls’ nights. 🍸 Cucumber soju cocktail — surprisingly refreshing. 🍊 Yuzu cocktail — also lovely.
