If I had to take a friend to just one place in Irvine, it would definitely be OC&LAU. I feel like I've eaten here countless times. Their delicious and affordable Vietnamese-style seafood is so popular that there's usually a queue from morning till night. Make sure to get on the waitlist on Yelp before you go. 🐚 Must-Order Dishes: Giant grilled scallops Plump grilled oysters Fried frog legs The lobster noodles are also great, with huge, super fresh lobsters and a flavorful broth. It's only about fifty bucks for a serving. 🍛 New Favorite: I tried the lamb curry with vermicelli this time and really liked it. 🍍 Not Recommended: I wouldn't suggest the pineapple fried rice. I found the spices in it to be quite strange. 🦞 Other Seafood: Order other seafood according to your preferences, and you're unlikely to be disappointed. 🥥 Dessert Must-Try: You must end your meal with a coconut smoothie. It's so good that I'd come to this restaurant just for it! Overall, the dishes are fresh and delicious, and the value for money is extremely high.
