My Last-Minute Boston Food Binge Before Leaving!

This time, it’s all about Italian food! 🇮🇹 I’ve always felt that in Boston, non-Chinese cuisine outshines Chinese food by a mile—especially Italian! After going on a wild eating spree, I’ve narrowed down my favorite spots. Yummy! 😋 1. Rino's Place Cash only 💵 | Cheap & huge portions The giant octopus leg is delicious. Most appetizers come in half portions, like the fried seafood. 🦑 The lobster ravioli sauce is incredible—perfect for dipping bread. 🦞🍞 But the real star is their pasta. Every sauce is amazing, and the classic red sauce never disappoints. Must order the homemade pasta—my personal favorite is linguine: flat, chewy, and sauce-clinging perfection! 🍝 Heads up: Their portions are massive! Two girls can easily share one appetizer + one pasta. 👯‍♀️ 2. Italian Pizza Galore 🍕 Parziale's Bakery $4 per slice, absolutely delicious! The herbs and pizza complement each other perfectly. 🌿 Try the hot honey pizza (pictured on the right in Figure 8)—it’s divine when fresh out of the oven! If you like spice, ask for their fragrant chili flakes. 🌶️🔥 Galleria Umberto Cash only again 💵 | Super cheap, traditional Sicilian style Only one type of pizza: cheese pizza, with a unique flavor. Arancini (fried rice balls) are filled with meat, cheese, and peas—I’m not a pea fan, so it was just okay for me. 😅 They also have other Italian snacks: panini, fried calzones, "cazzone" (like a rolled-up pizza?), and some off-menu Italian treats. Ciao! Pizza Also delicious, but I was unlucky with seating—had to take it home. But let’s be real: pizza is only alive when it’s fresh out of the oven! Even reheated, it’s just not the same… 🍕💔 Their Margherita pizza is better than other flavors, IMHO. But if you’re into wood-fired pizza, Al Forno in Rhode Island is the real deal! Worth a weekend trip! 🚗 3. Italian Desserts & Coffee ☕ A bit unique, but not my favorite—throwing it in here anyway! 😂 Caffe Vittoria Cash only again 💵 They serve a variety of Italian coffee: cappuccino, espresso martini, affogato, etc.—worth trying! I only went because they use Modern Pastry’s cannoli, so you can skip the long line at Modern! 🥧 #BostonFood #BostonLife #MyGoToFoodSpots #BostonEats #FoodieDiary
